It was a well-kept place. We greatly enjoyed rooms with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Was a convenient base for vacation.

Gorgeous and fairly clean hotel, incredibly beautiful views of the sunset and sunrises. Exceptionally comfortable beds, stunning location to the town area. Based very close to Egypt, the sound and light show and the Nubian Village.

The location was favourable, plus the breakfast was excellent!

It is in favourable location to Tombs of the Nobles, set just next door to the hotel. It's 22 minutes drive from the airport.

I liked the hotel, it was relaxing and neat. The breakfast was freshly prepared there. Its magnificent, central location was a plus. There were a local market and local markets around the property.

Its rooms are beautifully decorated with the A/C and high-ceilinged bedrooms, for instance. Also, the location is favourable, minutes from Sehel Island.

It was a well-kept hotel in a beautiful area, just next door to the Nile river, the train station, and Helnan Aswan. Booked a room with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The staff was service-oriented, good service. The food we tried was good and they have a huge variety of meals to choose from.

We only slept at the superior twin room with comfortable beds and large bathrooms, but liked it. There was helpful staff and the service was great. Location: the hotel was just next door to the center and the sound and light show.

The hotel was in an amazing location really close to the public ferry and souq as well as taxi. Also, such main attraction as Elephantine Island was 2 miles from this venue. Suite had facilities you could need.

Beautifully decorated and maintained property with a stunning Nile view. Spacious bedrooms with high ceilings. Wonderful service from attentive reception staff. Traditional and fetching uniforms of porters and guards. First-class facilities. Will definitely return. 🌟

Huge room with great view and great breakfast

No internet, no money changing facility. Staff misplaced passports and did not seem to understand importance of locating them (eventually turned up).

The staff tried to be friendly under difficult circumstances.

It claims it is 5 star and it is clearly not, I would give it 3 stars at the most. The hotel could be quite nice but it is totally in my view tired and unloved and lacking proper management. Rooms and bathrooms especially need to be maintained, towel rails and shower soap trays are hanging off the walls. The room door did not close properly. No mini bar. No complimentary water at all (most 5 star hotels in Egypt offer at least 2 small bottles). The paint work hadn't been done for a number of years. When you look in the corners its dirty. Table lamp didn't work. Air Conditioning outside the room in the corridors is not working. I only stayed one night thankfully but breakfast was sub standard. The coffee I was told had been made at 6:30am and was tepid and undrinkable at 9:30am when I poured a cup. I mentioned to the waiter that coffee does't last that long and would taste much better if freshly made more regularly. He then brought me two standard Nescafe one cup granules which if you are a coffee drinking snob like me is probably worse than 3 hour brewed coffee! I opted for tea instead. The 'Management' then proceeded to all have breakfast in the dining room. Is it just me who thinks- why do hotels do that? Just finally the location is very far from the heart of Aswan (the souk) The Movenpick is much better placed, much better run and 100% better than the Iberotel. It's a pity because there is potential at the Iberotel and willing very friendly staff, it is potentially a 'grand 5 star property' with big lobby etc but just missing any charm or any cosy atmosphere that you need when you are in Egypt.It is very expensive for what you get.

Great Nile view from main building and waterfront rooms. Beautiful, grandiose decor. Wonderful Nile cafe for relaxing. Interconnecting rooms with balcony views. Helpful staff.
